Christmas Surprise Box
With the lid on...
Wait for it......
Lid off.....!!!
Exploding boxes aren't new. They have been around for a long time. So what's the big deal right? Take a close look....this one has pockets! and the box itself has been re-sized to actually fit photos.
I redesigned the whole concept and gave it an update. Instead of a little 4" page, you now have 12 pockets that measure 6"....photo mats to put into the pockets...how cool is that? 48 photos will fit into this amazing box, which by the way is pretty neat to look at with the knob top and the cute feet on it.
This was hard to photograph and the pictures do not do it justice at all. It is on display at Hobby Lobby.
This class will be coming up in December.....please check the Hobby Lobby Tab for more details

Hello all my crafty friends. 'Tis the season! I've been busy, busy, busy designing and creating. New projects for all of my Hobby Lobby friends and all of my studio friends as well.
First up is a Super Cute Christmas Mini Album. This will be offered at Hobby Lobby and at my in home studio class. Check each tab for details.
So how cute is this? The binding on this little mini is really unique as well as being quick and simple.
I used the Paper Studio "Old World Winter" in the 12"x12" stack to mat this box. I also used the same paper pad to create the Surprise Christmas Box.
This class will be held on Saturday, December 7th at Hobby Lobby. Please check the Hobby Lobby tab for more details.

Hello all my crafty friends,
I have had a lot of questions about the Lost and Found Christmas Album. I created this particular album for a Hobby Lobby class because the paper is available at Hobby Lobby. I will be doing another album with the latest release from Bo Bunny, Silver and Gold. The Silver and Gold paper has just arrived and I will get to work on it!
The Silver and Gold Christmas Album will be offered as a studio class. When you ask? I'm not sure yet....I need to get the album done first and then have time to order more materials for those who chose to do the album in the Bo Bunny paper.
If you want to do the studio class, but want to use the Lost and Found paper from Hobby Lobby...by all means please feel free to do so. Nothing I create is set in stone....it's just a jumping off point for your own creativity!
As always, if you have any questions at all about any of the upcoming classes, feel free to contact me!

Dreams Canvas
Aren't these just too cute? I had so much fun creating these I just had to share them!
I have been wanting some Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays for the longest time, so I finally bit the bullet and bought some. The end result is just gorgeous. The two-toned effect on the canvases really makes them sparkle. The photos really don't do them justice!
I will be teaching these as a workshop next week. Check under the "Studio" tab for more info!

A Lost and Found Christmas
I think we all take tons of photos during the holidays, and then they just sit on our phones or computers....or even on the fridge with a magnet!
So instead of posting them on the fridge, this album will be ready to go for you to put photos in throughout the holiday season!
This album was made with My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found Christmas. I think the burgundy, brown and black are a nice change from the traditional red and green.
This album is scheduled for November at Hobby Lobby....be sure to check that tab for all of the details!
As always, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Happy crafting,
Lissa

Does it feel like fall yet? Things sure are cooling down....makes me think of falling leaves and pumpkin pie!
I have this old paper pumpkin that my son made in grade school.....years ago...his traced hands were the leaves on the pumpkin. Of course being a mom, I hung onto it for years. The pumpkin finally disintegrated, but I still have those hands....or leaves.
That was my inspiration for these adult versions of the paper pumpkin. I have these sitting in the studio on a mini hay bale and they sure are cute! Can't you see these sitting on your desk at work? Or make a display on your dining room table?
I had a gal in the studio today tell me that she had seen these in a magazine. I haven't seen that but I do know this idea isn't new....just updated a bit!
This class will be next Wednesday the 9th in the studio. Check my studio tab for all the details!

Are We There Yet?
Did you take a trip this summer? Maybe a family vacation? or just a weekend out of town? Do you still have the photos on your phone?
Show them off in a fun and interactive way. This album is made of paper bags and has a TON of photo real estate. Each page has 3 places to put a large photo, a small spot for journaling, and a large pocket for two more photos on a large tag! Tons of room in a small compact album you will be proud to show off....and it beats trying to show your vacation photos on your phone!
This is not limited to just a vacation album....how about just an everyday album of photos? Summer fun album? Even back to school? The paper bag style goes with everything.
This class will be at Hobby Lobby, scheduled for Saturday, October 26th AND Saturday, November 2nd. Both days class time will be 10am-1pm.
Cost of this class is $20 payable the first day of class.
For this class you will need:
6 paper bags (NOT lunch bags)
12x12 matching card stock
12x12 paper pad of your choice
embellishments of your choice
basic tool kit (trimmer, score board, scissors, liquid glue, pencil, ruler...etc...)
You can find paper bags at Hobby Lobby. The kraft color (brown) they carry is a great choice. It's nice and sturdy and easy to work with. The other guys carry them as well...you will find them in the party supply section of the store. You really do not want to use dollar store bags for this album. If you spend the time making it, you really want it to hold up!
I will supply the rest of the "ingredients" to put this together.
To sign up for this class, simply send me an e-mail and I will reserve a spot for you.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Happy crafting,
