What to expect in my classes

I want everyone in my classes to feel welcome and I want you to enjoy yourself and have a good time.  Chatting with others and general participation within the group is a great way to create and share ideas.  I really encourage this.

The one thing that I do ask.....please ask a question if you have one!!!  We all learn differently so please ask!

One of the very first things you need is "RULER 101"  reading a ruler is pretty important to be able to make the projects I design for classes.    I never use the 16th marks....but you will need the 1/8ths....1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8....practice practice practice!!!!

When you participate in a class with me you can expect to receive a written guide of some form and a video link to a construction video.  I do this for MOST of my classes but not all.

The video link is for a construction video I have done for the project.  You must have a google account in order to view the video.  I use google drive to store and share the videos.  It's the easiest way to do so.  The video should open right up for you as long as you have the google account....basically that's gmail.

Now on to policy and copyright:

Every project that I design and create is copyrighted.

My patterns and designs are for your personal use only.  They are not to be shared in any format. This means cutting guides, written patterns, instructions and videos. 

It simply is not right nor is it fair to share the details of a class with someone who has not paid to take the class.  It's not fair to me or the other students.  I have elected to NOT use social media sites to "share" my designs.  I would rather share them with real live people!

  You may make as many as you like for personal use only.  Giving to friends and family is fine.  Want to make a few for a fund raising event, feel free to do so.  

My designs may not be reproduced in any format for sale.  That means that you may not copy, alter or reproduce my designs for sale or profit. You may not sell projects that you have made in my classes.
