Too Cute Mini Album
This little mini would make a great gift for the upcoming holiday season. So quick and easy you will want to make more than one!
Each page has an attached fold out with a tag for quick journaling. The album itself is only 6x6 which makes it really easy to get maximum use out of a 12x12 paper pad. The pages lend themselves well to either portrait or landscape style photos.
The binding is simple and unique and has a great look to it. It expands as you fill the album with photos but still remains compact and easy to handle.
I've made quite a few of these now, all with different paper. I love this pink and green one!
Supplies you will need:
12x12 patterned paper
6 sheets of 12x12 matching card stock(heavy weight)
Embellishments of your choice...ribbon, eyelets, etc.....
Basic Took Kit
When shopping for paper, it helps to choose a paper that has elements on the page that you can cut out and use to decorate your album. That way you don't have to shop for extras or spend money on extras.
This class will be Thursday December 5th 5:30-8:30ish.
The cost of this class is $15. Black chipboard covers and double sided tape will be provided for your album.
Please let me know if you would like to attend.
Surprise Christmas Box
Exploding boxes are nothing new....what is new is the size and this one has multiple pockets for photo mats. Each pocket has 2 sides for photos and the photo mat inside can hold 2 more. That's a lot of photos in one compact space that is fun to display....or give as a gift.
I've done a number of these now, but don't limit yourself to Christmas paper. This could be a birthday box, anniversary box or a Valentine's day box. The options are endless.
This box and the mini album above were made from the same 12x12 paper stack. You'll have enough paper in one stack to do several of each projects if you choose to do so. This particular paper is from Michael's. It is called City Sidewalks...love it! It's fun and funky....just perfect for adding feathers to.
Of course if your taste is a little more traditional.....
How bout that huh? I stayed with the tree theme in the middle of all of the boxes. It's easy to do and you can probably decorate it with things you have at home.
Supplies you will need:
12x12 patterned paper or paper stack
1 package of 12x12 matching card stock
Scotch quick dry adhesive
Embellishments of your choice
Basic too kit
Optional tools if you have them:
Corner rounder punch
Circle punch
Each one of the boxes I have built have feet. You can use anything! Large beads, mini candle cups, metal feet...the choices are endless. I've also used knobs for the lids that I purchased at Hobby Lobby at 50% off...CHEAP! Lots of bling for the the buck.
This class will be Tuesday December 9th 5:30-8:30ish.
Cost of class is $15
I will provide chipboard pieces for the base and the lid as well as the double sided tape needed to build this.
This project really is not complicated and it does come together quickly. If you can cut paper and use glue you can do this!!!!!
Please let me know if you would like to attend this class.
