Bits and Pieces

Hello all my crafty friends!

As most of you know, I've been super busy trying to get a display together for the Custer show in November....DONE!  Now I can move on to the fun stuff.

I have a simple mini to share with you.  This does incorporate a new binding as well as showing you how to bind different sized elements into your projects.

I tried to keep it a simple as possible.....no special tools required!  You don't need a bunch of fancy gadgets for this one.

Be sure to check the Hobby Lobby Tab for all of the details.

If you would like to attend, be sure to send me an e-mail or contact me on FaceBook

Booth display

So here is the end result of all of those bits and pieces I found in the garage.  This will be my basic set up for the booth display.  Now I need to do some hunting for some cool add-ons.  Vintage suitcases maybe? I will know it when I see it.

This was actually a bugger to set up....it's in my studio at home and it was a pretty tight fit.

My application is in....filled it out, took the photos, shoved it in an envelope, slapped the stamps on and Nathan took it to the Post office before I could change my mind.  I will know by the 29th of July if I have a spot......stay tuned!

Hello all my crafty friends!

A few of you have been "poking" me....I know I have been MIA but I have not forgotten about you.

I am busy prepping display pieces for the Custer Arts and Craft show this fall.  I have been talking about doing it, Nathan has been pushing me to do it....I'm doing it!   Well maybe....

It is an application process.  I need to send photos of my work AND my display booth.....WHAT???
OH YEAH!  I had it worked out in my head so I had to get busy with my hands and put it together RIGHT NOW.  I wasn't counting on that.  I thought I had until show time in November.....nope! The deadline in July 8th.

So you all know that I am a big fan of recycle, re-purpose and reuse.  I got dirty rummaging around in my barn and came up with some fantastic stuff to build a booth display.  After scrubbing off the grunge and dirt everything just needs a coat of paint, stain and varnish.   This is what I am starting with....

Stay tuned!
